A collection inspired by the world of fishermen, fishing boats and fish markets. It explores the textures, colors, silhouettes and rituals surrounding this environment — from waterproof workwear and ropes to the silver skin of fish and the atmosphere of early mornings at sea. Developed as a graduation project in 2013, the collection was designed and produced from concept to final execution, including fabric sourcing, pattern cutting, draping, moulage, quilting techniques, textile manipulation and garment construction. The project was also styled and photographed as part of the final presentation.

At its core, the collection is about transformation. About fish market sellers cutting fish with speed and precision on cold marble counters. About removing the head, fins and tail until, beneath the waterproof silver skin, tender white flesh appears. About fishermen and their wives selling fish at the market. About the sense of vastness and freedom on a fishing boat at 4 a.m., surrounded by the sea, the wind and the first light of the day. A study of a working world often overlooked, where functionality, beauty and craftsmanship coexist.
